In 2004, Amy founded Community Impact, Inc., beginning what would become a longstanding commitment to behavioral healthcare, prevention, recovery, and community-based services. Over the years, Community Impact has grown and expanded its services and partnerships, allowing Amy to develop programs that respond directly to the changing needs of individuals, families, and communities. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of Chris’ Corner Recovery Resource Center, where she leads recovery support services, community outreach, partnerships, grants, fundraising, and clinical operations.

A defining part of Amy’s career has been her ability to bring systems together to address behavioral health and substance use challenges at the community level. She founded the Regional Substance Navigation Program, creating regional police-clinician collaborations focused on crisis response and care coordination. She also serves as Clinical Director for municipal co-response programs working alongside police departments and has served as a Drug Court Therapist with Milford District Court, helping coordinate treatment recommendations and continuity of care for specialty court participants.

Amy holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts with specialized training in TF-CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, Crisis Intervention (CIT), FBI Crisis Negotiation Training, CISM, Seeking Safety, Mental Health First Aid, and other trauma-informed and crisis-response approaches.

Throughout her career, Amy has worked to bridge the gap between behavioral healthcare, recovery, law enforcement, courts, schools, healthcare systems, and community organizations. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in collaboration, compassion, accountability, and the belief that people deserve to be met where they are without shame or judgment.

Her work is rooted in a simple philosophy: No Shame. No Judgment. Just Truth.
