Kayla Strehle, MA
Kayla is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families in building emotional awareness, confidence, and resilience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology from the University of North Florida and received her master’s degree from Lynn University in South Florida, focusing on developmental trauma.
Kayla has experience working with children and adolescents navigating challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, and behavioral concerns. She has a particular interest in supporting those who struggle to express their emotions, feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, or have difficulty navigating peer relationships.
Her approach is warm, supportive, and client-centered, incorporating evidence-based practices and mindfulness. She focuses on helping her clients better understand their emotions, build confidence, and develop practical coping skills.
Kayla values creating a safe and trusting environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She works collaboratively with children and families to strengthen communication, improve emotional expression, and support meaningful growth.
